Project horse - “Hope”
2020 model, +/- 14 hands, pony type
Grade pinto, mare, unknown breed, purchased off the Sunnyside feedlot in May 2023. Grows a double mane, nice and thick, same as her tail. Super-duper flashy. Great mover and has shown a knack for free-jumping in the past, not hard on fences though and not an escape artist.
Current on hooves (barefoot), vaccinations 5-way + WNV, vaccinated annually, deworming. 6 panel negative, LWO/n, tested through Etalon Diagnostics (pro-panel plus), who has since deleted all client records so I have no access to her results (Money down the drain).
Had 3 months western training last spring with AM Horsemanship north of Spokane, WA last year. Moved like a Cadillac under saddle. Smooth trot. She was green broke, but has sat for 9 months due to winter, and now my pregnancy. Will need more training, a refresher/tune up at the least before I’d consider her green again.
Pro’s: Leads/Ties/Grooms/Bathes/loads/hauls loose very well. Extremely easy keeper. Very very sweet and calm once she knows you, in fact she just tried following me into my house this morning as we are allowing them access to our entire property. Very food/treat motivated.
Cons:
She can be flighty, jumpy, spooky, untrusting especially with unfamiliar people and in unfamiliar environments. Pulls back when tied at times. Can be hard to catch. Can be stubborn with her feet if not worked beforehand.
Will need a current Coggins/HC, was negative last year. PPE welcome at buyer expense. Current on teeth, floated last year (wolf teeth pulled at that time). Hooves trimmed early June. UTD on vaccinations (5-way + WNV June 2026) and deworming (July 2026).
Message for further details, asking $3500 as is, just what I paid last year to have her trained for 90 days. Asking a lot less than what I have in, I’ve put more than that into her this year alone.
I would consider free care leasing as well, OFF-site. Ready for pickup anytime. Can send off for a month Tune-up of training for an additional fee, wouldn’t be available for pickup until month(s) complete.
