I also have a large snake plant for $50 I would recommend repotting it into a clay pot. I just haven’t had the chance to do so!
They are very easy to care for! I haven’t watered them for months as winter is a time not too. They live in a window that gives them a view of the sky and get lots of light. I only water ones a month during the summer times.
