Somewhat disabled 67 yea old retired senior software engineer seeking a six-month place in Yakima.
Currently catsitting in Seattle for a friend on a 3 month sabbatical in the UK, who returns end of June.
Everyone tells me Yakima would be perfect for me. But I'm having ZERO luck finding a place near mass transit as my vision is bad(diabetic retinopathy) so no driving. I can afford $1600/mo but not the $2000 places I see ads for.
Worst case, I'll move to Portland Maine so I do have a fallback.
