PLEASE NOTE: We are looking for ground crew help ONLY at this time, NOT a climber. This is an entry-level position where you will learn the basics from the ground up. Our ideal candidate will be motivated to learn to climb after putting in their dues working the ground crew. Wages for tree climbers on our crews start around $500/day +
Compensation & Schedule:
Starting Wage: $25/hour
Up to $40/hour DOE for qualified candidates
4-6 days of work usually Mon-Thurs available each week
Fully above-the-board payroll (direct deposit) with standard workers' comp coverage.
The Job:
You will be working purely on the ground assisting our lead climber. Daily tasks include dragging heavy brush, limbs, and debris to the wood chipper, as well as servicing and filling chainsaws with gas and oil. Tree work is inherently dangerous, so you must work hard and keep your head on a swivel at all times. Work begins with a tryout day.
Location: We service Kittitas County and eastern King County. Must be able to travel to jobsite. Travel stipend available for qualified candidates.
Requirements: Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs all day long. Work boots and heavy duty outerwear. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (willing to travel to job sites).Must show up on time, sober, and ready to work. We have a zero-tolerance policy for intoxication, late arrivals, or no-call/no-shows. Be respectful. Must be a fast learner who follows instructions and is willing to ask questions.
