In 1984 Rivera set out to Japan to work with Fender Japan and help develop their new line of high quality amps to revive Fender’s amp market. This amp is from that exceptional era and it sounds fantastic.
This particular example of a very rare Fender Japan ELK EI Squier 15 is in fully working condition, and it is very hard to find. The amp is in great shape.
This rare Fender Japan by ELK / EI 15 watt power amp is great for practice and small gigs. It includes the original knobs and original 8” Fender Speaker. This Rivera designed amp is made to high quality standards and strongly resembles similar blackface amps.
It packs a strong punch with impressive tonal qualities, and it is very rare and collectible. It’ll also serve as a great practice amp, open mic, and travel amplifier weighing at only 10 lb and measuring 12x13x7.
It sounds amazing and gets very loud for its size. The amp is lightweight and the handle and all functions work excellent. These are growing a cult following for their very tube like solid state sound, and state of the art technology of its time. These amps sound incredibly good, and they will surprise you. They simply do not make them like this anymore.
