We are looking for an individual to join our office staff, this person will need to be a detail oriented, accurate with excellent multi-tasking skills in order to successfully assist the Accounting & HR Manager with the daily corporate needs of multiple restaurants. This position will begin with approximately 20 hours per week.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Office Support: Answer two line telephone, record-keeping, filing, word processing, data entry, preparation of standard reports and forms, receiving and conveying information, and working with employees. Responsible for the flow and completion of assigned work within general guidelines, and may require the exercise of some judgment in application.
Light Bookkeeping: Accounts payable, invoicing and payroll reconciliation.
Human Resource Support: Review and maintain personnel records; assist in employee record-keeping; ensuring all termination, rate of change and new hire paperwork are up to date and complete and conduct weekly new hire orientation.
Project Management Support: Writing, editing and maintaining various projects while maintaining confidential employee and proprietary company information.
Skills and Qualifications
Accounting and payroll software systems: Knowledge of QuickBooks, Restaurant Solutions & Digital Dining preferred but not required.
Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently.
Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
