Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Form Carpenter and a Semi‑Skilled Helper for a short‑term contract opportunity supporting a custom residential concrete foundation pour in Cle Elum, Washington. This project involves slab‑on‑grade work and vertical concrete walls and is ideal for experienced concrete tradespeople and strong helpers who can support forming and pouring operations.
Project Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 1+ month
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Site Address:
Cle Elum, WA 98922
Work Environment: Site work pouring slab for a custom home
Position 1: Form Carpenter
Pay Rate: $31–$40/hour
Responsibilities:
- Layout, build, and set concrete forms for slab‑on‑grade foundations
- Form and pour vertical concrete walls up to 10 feet
- Assist with concrete placement and finishing as needed
- Ensure structural accuracy and quality during forming and pouring
- Work safely and efficiently on an active residential jobsite
Requirements:
- Proven experience forming large residential concrete foundations
- Strong skills in layout, form setting, and structural concrete work
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills
Position 2: Semi‑Skilled Helper
Pay Rate: $24–$28/hour
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Form Carpenter with slab and wall forming
- Carry and manage concrete and materials (up to 75 lbs)
- Support concrete pours and jobsite cleanup
- Follow direction and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements:
- Ability to heavy lift
- Experience assisting with concrete or construction work preferred
- Dependable, physically capable, and safety‑focused
Tools & PPE:
- All standard PPE required for both positions
