Job Description:
We are a small, family-owned company with over 45 years of experience in the business. We are currently hiring a pest control technician. Beginning in April, a minimum of 20 hours per week is guaranteed. There may also be opportunities for additional hours for those interested.
This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, enjoys working outdoors, and feels comfortable meeting new people while representing our company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Service residential and commercial customer accounts on a scheduled route
- Identify pest activity and conditions contributing to pest issues
- Apply treatments safely and in accordance with state regulations and company procedures
- Educate customers on pest prevention, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations
- Accurately document services performed, findings, and materials used
- Maintain equipment, tools, and work vehicle in clean and working condition
- Communicate professionally with customers, office staff, and management
For candidates interested in additional work, there may be optional opportunities on the other side of our company that handles biohazard deep cleans and item removal in high-clutter environments, including DSHS-supported jobs. Participation in this work is completely optional and not part of the pest control technician’s required duties.
A commercial operator’s license is required for route work. You will need to study for the exam, schedule it, and cover the cost upfront. We will provide study guides to help you prepare and reimburse the cost if you are hired. A license isn’t required to get hired, but is required for advancement.
